Not gonna take that clickbait. I learned a while ago not to take any Jezebel clickbait (or click on Jezebel in general).
Then again, I really don’t go on any official Gawker sites anymore apart from the odd Kotaku article.
Oppo is the only “Gawker” site that I visit nearly everyday.

Tumblr has for a long time been a host of content for various, shall we say, classy/ethical NSFW stuff.
But a while back, they got bought by Yahoo, which got bought by Verizon and rolled up under their subsidiary Oath along with HuffPost, AOL and their associated blogs (Autoblog, Engadget, TechCrunch, etc).
N ow Verizon is changing Oath to Verizon Media Group, and Verizon wants to do something with Tumblr. What exactly that is, nobody knows, but they don’t want to be in the classy/ethical NSFW game anymore, and came up with this bone-headed “female-presenting nipples” nonsense.

In hindsight I didn’t explain enough lol. Damn Kinja 15 minute windows! They’re banning porn and in their press release they tried to be all corporate woke about it. They could just say they don’t want to see the nipples of women, instead they tried to be inclusive in the dumbest way possible.

It looks like they have a porn-detecting algorithm. If it (or someone) thinks it’s porn, you’ll be booted. Though it looks like those identifying as men will be able to be shirtless and it won’t inherently mean “porn”.
